Heritage Christmas

Last night we had a Heritage Christmas at the Burnaby Village Museum, which represents a typical tram-stop community in British Columbia in 1920s. In the village you will find both historic and replica buildings. The entire site is beautifully decorated with lights and period ornaments for the festive season. There are traditional crafts for children, schoolhouse story time, Christmas baking in the Farmhouse, children's entertainers, choirs, demonstrations and exhibits. Bob, myself and Bob's parents rode the historic wooden carousel with other "KIDS" of all ages. I wish we brought our camera so that I could share the fun with you! I couldn't stop laughing when I was on the ride. Actually, everyone else was laughing too. I even coloured a Santa decoration in a craft room and brought it back as a Christmas gift. I guess I am still a kid at heart :-) What Christmas activities do you have in your city?
