Wordless Wednesday #13
Bob loves photography. To involve him with my blogging, every Wednesday I will post one photo from Bob's Album for Wordless Wednesday. This week, I want to try different thing. Below is a picture of 1$ Canadian dollar Bob scanned last week. The bill was printed in 1973 and was in circulation from 3 June 1974 to 30 June 1989. The one dollar bill was replaced by the "Loonie" in 1987. This old bill reminds me that when I was a teenager, I also liked to collect different stuff, such as stamps and tickets, etc. Unfortunately, not money :-( One Dollar Bill, Canada, 1970s

That brings back memories! I was born in Canada, though we moved just before they released the Loonies. Happy Wednesday!
I have some Iraqi money that a soldier brought me that has Saddam's picture on it somewhere. I had forgotten about it until I saw your WW...maybe I should hunt it up.
Every other country's money is so much nicer than ours! Wah!!
Wow, I have never seen this before!
Sometimes when I go to put my change in one of those machines that will give you cash for your change, I find money from Ireland and Israel and other places. I think I must collect money from other countries and I just don't know it!
I should have collected money too. As a child I collected stamps. I enjoyed that a lot.
Great post.
Mine is up too.
Nice piece of history! Thanx again!
thats pretty neat
We don't have £1 notes anymore, just coins :-(
Interesting. Happy WW.
What's a loonie? And you have the UK Queen's head on your money too :)
I love looking at the way money has changed. We've gone from big notes to small ones and coins. Funny how the less money is worth over the years the smaller they make it.
American money is so boring looking. Of course, that doesn't mean I don't like it. :)
That's an interesting one this time.
Thanks.
Hugs and Happy WW,
