Saturday Photo Hunt #15 - "Antique"

I don't have a picture of any real antique. So I was looking for something old and nice. I like old buildings and here goes a photo of St. Anne’s Church. It was built in 1894 and located on Church Road, Parksville, B.C. Canada. For over a century, St. Anne’s Church has stood as a symbol of the faith, determination and courage of the early pioneers of this area.

I don't see why that can't count as an antique! It doesn't look all that old, though, it's lasted well since 1894! Must have been built of some strong stuff!

Enjoy your minute of exercise!

That's a beautiful church. I like how simple it is but the symbols it stood for account for its greatness. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if the structures built today will hold up as well as these old structures have! What great workmanship.

I think that's a great antique. Did you take the picture this week---with snow on the ground? The children around here will never see snow unless they take a trip north! It's something we talk about every tome the temperature drops below freezing.

Enjoyed your blog!

It's a beautiful building. They sure don't make them like they used to.

I'm thinking about the people that build this church 113 years ago. Must have been hard work, but surely they were happy to have their own house for woreship.

=^.^=

Nice choice, I always wanted to live in a log cabin to at least see what it would be like. Thank you for visiting me and I hope you have an awesome week.

This is a terrific choice for The Hunt this week. Fits the "Antique" themem perfectly. This little church is in amazing shape all these years later. Amazing to think about all the different faithful who came here to worship.
